16:30 - 17:00 Lyrical - Grade Six
This class requires strong Lyrical and Ballet technique. In this class you will complete barre and centre practice as well as begin to utilise the floor space efficiently during the travelling sections. You will continue to develop musicality as well as expression and poise. Wear black leotard and a suitable practice skirt. White skirts are available to rent for examinations.
17:00 - 17:30 Adult Ballet - Graded Class
This class will follow the GCF accredited qualifications as set by the British Theatre Dance Association and continue to develop strong technique through barre work and centre practice as well as poise and confidence. Ladies wear black leotard, pink seamed tights and pink leather Ballet shoes. Men wear black leggings, white unitard, white socks and black leather Ballet shoes.
17:30 - 18:00 Tap - Grade Four
Suitable for those who have had some Tap training before. Through a warm-up, barre and centre practice this class will continue to improve your Tap technique whilst building your stamina and musicality. Girls wear black leotard, red footless leggings, black belt and black Tap shoes with heel taps. Boys wear black leggings, white unitard, white ankle socks and black Tap shoes with heel taps.
18:00 - 18:30 Lyrical - Grade Three
This class is suitable for those who have strong Lyrical technique and are able to utilise their long flowing skirt correctly. Through barre and centre practice you will begin to incorporate complex movements into routines whilst developing expression and musicality. Wear black leotard and a suitable practice skirt. White skirts are available to rent for examinations.
18:30 - 19:15 Adult Tap - Advanced
19:15 - 19:45 Tap - Grade Three
For those who have some basic Tap knowledge and yearn for the challenge that graded Tap can bring. Here you will continue to develop your step vocabulary and by linking basic steps together you will strengthen your technique and build confidence and musicality. Wear comfortable clothing and Tap shoes or strong hard-soled shoes.
19:45 - 20:30 Pointe Work Class
A class designed for dancers with excellent Ballet technique who are ready for starting and improving their pointe technique. This class will focus on both pre-pointe and pointe work. Dancers must be a minimum of Grade Four Ballet with strong ankles and feet.
