Here at the Embers Dance Company we pride ourselves on
providing top quality dance training whilst ensuring the safest possible practices.
Our ultra-safe policies ensure our dancers bodies are never overstretched so
they stay safe and strong for whatever comes their way.
Following
programmes from the British Theatre Dance Association we offer OFQUAL
accredited classes in Classical Ballet, Tap, Modern Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary
and Acro to all ages. And even have Adult Only classes and our amazing Little Embers Baby Ballet classes to tiny ones.
All of our teachers are fully DBS checked and trained
in Early Years development, safeguarding and First Aid. As part of their continued
professional development and to maintain an exacting standard of safety we are proud to work in association with the Philip Cutts Pain Management & Rehabilitation Group
to develop our teachers specialisms in Stretching vs
Flexibility Physiology, En Pointe Safety & Performance; Anatomy and
Biomechanics, En Pointe shoe fitting and are currently working on completing
their qualifications in Dance Medicine and Applied Anatomy & Physiology .
We are not just another dance school, our dancers’
wellbeing is our top priority and we openly share our anatomical knowledge with
our dancers. After all, a smart dancer is not only a strong dancer but, most importantly,
a SAFE dancer.
