Miss Emberton
Principal

Miss Emberton began her dance training at the age of 4yo and has never looked back, beginning her own Dance Teacher Training in 1995.

In 2002 she qualified as a Secondary Science Teacher whilst still teaching at her original dance school. In 2012 she took the leap to take over the dance school which had nurtured her throughout her life and gained her official BTDA Dance Teacher qualification.

Miss Emberton is always striving to improve herself and her teaching so, as well as creating a unique in-house Trainee Teaching Assistant programme, she is studying to become a Musculoskeletal Dance and Sports Therapist to ensure only the very best for her students and school.

Miss Kerry
Teacher

Miss Kerry is our Musical Theatre and performance specialist, as well as being technically flawless.

Having trained under Miss Emberton since the age of 3yo, she has since explored her own creativity and found a love of the theatre, regularly performing with the St Ambrose Players in their many productions.

In her spare  time she has, also, recently become a fully qualified Irlen Syndrome Assessor. A role she is passionate about and brings this knowledge to our dance family.

We are extremely proud to have Miss Kerry with us and know she has only the very best intentions for our dancers.

Miss Megan
Teacher

Miss Megan is our Early Years specialist and has trained under Miss Emberton since the age of 3yo.

Having completed her own dance training she still takes regular classes to maintain her own technique and has found a love of the theatre through performing with the St Ambrose Players and brings this performance experience to her classes.

Miss Abi & Miss Alissa
Assistant Teachers

Miss Abi & Miss Alissa are our Assistant Teachers and can be found helping out in classes as well as leading their own.

Both have been trained at EmbersDC and are part of our Trainee Teaching Assistant programme which aims to teach them not only pedagogy  of teaching but also how to teach flawless technique in a uniquely anatomical way to help us create the very best dancers in the future.
