From the age of 4, Miss Emberton began her dance journey and has never looked back. She began studying Ballet and Tap but soon took up Modern Jazz and Lyrical. At the age of 14 Miss Emberton became a teaching assistant which is where she found her love of teaching. This led to her qualifying as a Secondary Science teacher but, even then she was still heavily involved in her dance school teaching and taking classes every week.

In 2011 Miss Emberton sadly lost both her dance teachers which spurred her on to make the decision to continue running the school herself. After completing her BTDA teachers qualifications Miss Emberton began looking for the next challenge. This led her to gain instructor qualifications in Exercise to Music and Ante & Postnatal Fitness. Over the lockdowns Miss Emberton also become a certified tutor for Progressing Ballet Technique classes. In 2021 Miss Emberton began her training with Philip Cutts Pain Management and has already gained qualifications in En Pointe Safety & Performance; Anatomy and Biomechanics and En Pointe shoe fitting. She has now completed the first of three years of her Applied Anatomy and Physiology for Dance certificate.

Since taking over the school our school has grown in size and strength, and in February 2022 we were awarded Best Dance School in the North West run by the Corporate Livewire Prestige Awards.

Our Biannual shows offer performance opportunities to our dancers to showcase their achievements and build confidence in themselves. Miss Emberton is passionate about creating a fun and safe environment where are dancers are welcomed, celebrated and accepted for who they are.
